We arrived at Mana Pools airstrip at 10.15 am on the 3rd Nov and the Exec Air charter piloted by Caroline arrived as we got there.
We thus did not have to wait in the sweltering heat and I was most impressed by the timing and efficiency of Exec Air.

I would like to thank Executive Air and especially Simon Wild for flying us safely to Kariba. I have been in many light aircraft in my time in the Maldives, Botswana and Namibia and this is the very first time I have had such an enthusiastic and approachable pilot. He made a point of checking on us during the flight, he provided us with drinks and refreshments and answered all our questions. An added bonus was the fact that he loves his country too and wanted us to see all the sights he knew would interest us.
